Notes: Most skiers put klisters on too thick. The sticky klisters should look like a thin shiny film of water on the ski. Use heat to liquefy the klister and your thumb to spread it out.  Tests confirm Toko & Swix fluorinated klisters are superior products in these conditions. Try Swix Silver mixed with Red in dirty snow. WARNING! NO FLAMES with fluorinated klisters & waxes.

Even in dry air -- fluoros much faster.

Notes: Warm weather -- new results. Fluorocarbons with paraffin wax are easy and effective for most skiers. Start with one brand and learn. Structure is very important with high water content. If you are having trouble getting wax to stick to your fluorocarbon skis, it is time to peel off the top layer with a metal scraper. Fluorocarbons seal the base, so watch out.
